CAMEO Network is made up of over 400 organizations, agencies, and individuals dedicated to furthering business development across the nation with small and micro-business financing, such as loans and credit, technical assistance and business management training.
CAMEO builds capacity and expands resources for members and engaged in advocacy at the local, state and federal levels to support the growth of micro-business, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. LEH partnered with The Eckblad Group to support course and curriculum development for CAMEO’s National CDFI Academy. The Academy provides access to robust, best-in-class training for microlenders providing lending capital to under-resourced entrepreneurs. LEH and The Eckblad Group co-designed and delivered nearly 30 individual courses covering a range of strategic and operational topics designed to propel greater efficiency and scale for microlenders and the business support organizations that support them. Courses co-developed by the consulting team helped CAMEO increase academy enrollment and build relationships across the CDFI industry nationally.
